Institute of Biomedical Engineering: Call for PhD Scholars

Under the framework of the TÜBİTAK 2232-A International Leading Researchers Program, the Institute of Biomedical Engineering is seeking highly motivated and research-oriented PhD Scholars to join our advanced research team.

Funding and Financial Support

Selected candidates will receive full-time financial support as follows:

• PhD Scholarship Amount: 32,500 TRY / Month (Full-Time)

Research Areas

Prospective scholars are expected to contribute to one or more of the following cutting-edge fields:
• Polymer Bioelectronics: Polymer chemistry, synthesis, and development of electronic systems forbiosensing applications.
• Neural Interfaces & Biomaterials: Biocompatible hydrogels, neuronal cell culture, in vivo rodentmodels, and brain–computer interfaces.
• Micro/Nano Fabrication: Cleanroom fabrication techniques and high-density polymer electrodearrays.
• Electrospinning: Bionanomaterials production, tissue engineering applications, and conductivepolymer-based materials.

Eligibility and Application Timeline

Mandatory Requirement: Applicants must be admitted to or currently enrolled in the PhD program at theBoğaziçi University Institute of Biomedical Engineering.
