Scholarship: TÜBİTAK 2232A funded Full-time Post-Doctoral Researcher full time scholarship (36,500 TL/month)

Project Description:

We are seeking highly motivated Post-Doctoral Researcher to join our interdisciplinary team working on the development of hydrogel-based neural interface technologies. The project involves the synthesis and characterization of biocompatible hydrogels, cell cultures, primary neuron culture, and small animal (rat/mouse) surgeries for in vivo testing of implantable devices. The ideal candidate will have a background in biomaterials, neuroscience, or biomedical engineering and a strong interest in hands-on experimental research involving both in vitro and in vivo models.

Qualifications:

• Experience with or interest in hydrogel synthesis and characterization
• Experience with or interest in confocal microscopy and calcium imaging
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn neuronal cell culture techniques
• Interest in rodent surgical procedures and animal handling (training will be provided)
• High level of motivation, precision, and teamwork
